Excellent! As a parent of a college and a high school student, this book really educated us to think more like an investor (which parents and students really are with their time and money) shopping and comparing colleges, including costs, financial aid, their graduation rate, etc and what sort of return on the investment each of the schools of interest might have. I was feeling overwhelmed by the whole process before I read this book, but the excellent examples in clear straightforward language really helped me immensely. I bought the Class of '17 edition of this book last year, and it really helped us with the whole process. Now my oldest child just transferred to an excellent university that seems tailor made for him and he received a generous grant. I know if I had not read this book, I would have considered the school financially unattainable and my child may not have applied, and would not have been as happy and fulfilled as he seems now. I believe the financial aid and FAFSA information in the book helped my child receive the grant, and I know it helped us compare the schools in a much more educated, astute way than we would have, which really helped us in the selection process. I purchased this new edition for my high schooler. I'll probably keep buying these every year while my kids are in high school and college! I highly recommend it!Product details

This is a thorough and well written overview how your student can attend college for less. As a high school teacher, I found Mr. Hensley's book answered many questions that my students often ask regarding the costs of going to college. I will defintely use this book as a resource for my students.
